Business Developer with German IT

Prominent Multi-National IT company in Cork has a newly created vacancy  for an experienced Business Developer with fluent German to contact IT Resellers and Distributors across German speaking Europe and sell market leading anti-virus IT Software.

Job Description:

Working within a modern office environment, amongst a dedicated multi national sales force focussed on the business market, this role will focus on developing business with exisiting and new re-sellers within Germany via Telephone.

Roles / Responsibilities:

• Contacting new distributors and channel sellers across Europe and selling a portfolio of innovative anti-virus software products - this is a business development focussed position
• Converting leads to sales
• Working alongside marketing to promote new products and educate resellers and distributors on what is new
• Online demonstrations as required
• Account management of the new business developed
• Meeting projected sales targets individually and as a team
• Travel for specific events and trade fairs

Skills / Experience:

• Previous experience in a Telesales Position, ideally selling software via channel distribution. Previous knowledge of the anti-virus software market in Europe is desireable but not required.
• Full fluency in German and English
• Proven ability to develop new relationships and new business from leads
• Strong IT skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a target driven environment
