I want that #easterhamper!

Morgan McKinley celebrated Valentine’s Day with style by sending out a scrumptious chocolate gift to some of our friends. We thought, why not? After all, it’s a holiday that is clearly essential for affirming our special relationships and we do like to treat!
The trying period of Lent arrived (a bit too swiftly, if you ask me!); we vowed to give up that one delicacy, and though it may only be just the one, it’s the most alluring of all. For most of us, this usually means chocolate.
Aside from teaching us about life lessons, such as sacrifice, patience and even discipline, it oddly creates a completely unexpected element; competition. You would think we’d all be focused on the hardship of trying not to be led into temptation.
Instead, as most of us are of the mischievous sort, we find the fun and creative ingredient to every task. In the workplace, I wonder how many of you made friendly bets amongst your colleagues, stating that you’d be able to live without your guilty pleasure for the full 40 days. Or perhaps you purposefully tease each other, by openly relishing in treats others have promised to give up.
However, with Easter around the corner, the end is almost in sight. Very slowly, the faint glow at the end of the tunnel begins to brighten a bit more with each day, as we move closer to Easter Sunday.
To celebrate Easter, we’re giving away a delicious #easterhamper for you and your team*.
For a chance to win, all you have to do is complete one of the following on our social media sites and tell us why you and your work colleagues deserve this delightful hamper.
- Leave a comment on this Easter blog.
- Comment on our Easter blog post on the Morgan McKinley LinkedIn page with your reason why your team should win this treat.
- Tweet us @morganmckinley using #easterhamper with your reason.
Remember, your reason will be the deciding factor, so make sure you choose your words wisely!
Good luck and have a Happy Easter!
