Market Support Administrator

I am currently working with a leading organisation who is seeking a Market Support Administrator to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of sales orders from receipt to delivery. This will involve inputs and amendments along with booking transport to ensure on time delivery. This role will also involve coordinating administration within the Marketing Support office, liaising with and supporting the sales offices whilst maintaining customer service standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sales order processing from receipt of order to delivery. Support sales offices with accurate information.
  • Issue Confirmations with correct information as required.
  • Prepare daily shipping list for orders ready for next day/week shipment
  • Arranging transport for orders to ensure timely delivery to customers, allocating the stocks and informing the transport companies.
  • Freight costs are controlled and orders are delivered using designated costed carriers.
  • Support Sales offices with all queries re stock deliveries and logistics issues complete support for the sales and marketing offices.
  • Ensure stock is allocated to orders to fulfill shipping schedules. Liaise with Planning scheduler/ coordinator re stock/shipping timeline requirements.
  • Check on stock shortages with warehouse/scheduler.
  • Report to Logistics Manager and IT any discrepancies affecting service and deliveries.
  • Maintain effective communication with the team and across departments both on site and with sales personnel
  • Assist with other administration function as may be required from time to time.
  • Issue reports as required on orders for shipping and other reports as requested.
  • Prepare and enter Credit Notes as requested
  • Develop knowledge and experience of documents required for exports outside the EU.
  • Dealing with shipping companies communicating, responding to problems and queries in efficient and timely manner.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Attention to detail essential
  • HETAC Level 7 qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics discipline
  • Interest and knowledge in the Supply Chain, understanding the importance of responding to the customer and supporting sales operations
  • Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills required who also works as a team player..
  • Experience of Syspro/AWM desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of the need for accuracy and attention to detail.
